B2B Mobility Limit and Restriction 1.1.4

The B2B Mobility Limit and Restriction API provides access to set, update, and search usage, day/time, product, and location restrictions for your Shell fuel cards. It allows you to enforce company policies and manage card limits in real-time to prevent misuse.

The B2B Mobility Limit and Restriction API provides you with the following capabilities:

• Usage limits: Set maximum spending or fuel volume limits per transaction, day, week, month, year, or over the card's lifetime.
• Day and time restrictions: Control exactly when a card can be used, such as restricting transactions to standard business hours.
• Product restrictions: Specify exactly what can be purchased, such as limiting purchases to specific fuel grades (e.g., diesel only) or blocking non-fuel items.
• Location and site restrictions: Limit card usage to specific countries, third-party networks, or designated Shell sites to avoid higher-cost locations.
• Bundle management: Create, update, delete, and retrieve summaries of restriction bundles, applying unified limits to up to 500 cards at once.
• Account-level limits: Query and apply broad velocity limits and restrictions at the overarching account level.

By integrating this Shell API directly into your own fleet management or HR software, your system can automatically assign, update, or remove limit profiles based on driver roles and designated routes.

Whenever a transaction attempts to exceed these predefined limits, whether it's the wrong fuel type, an unauthorised location, or outside approved hours, the transaction is automatically declined at the station, keeping you in complete control.
