Shell Card Management APIs

Customer API offers various endpoints to retrieve account data from Shell's fleet management system and enable seamless integration with your system.

Key features include:

Account Overview: Access details on Account Numbers, Card Groups, and Card Types, useful for ordering fuel cards or creating dashboards.
Audit Report: Review operations performed on specific accounts and their statuses. For example, extract details of failed card orders, sent PIN reminders, and card status change requests.
Card Groups Overview and Update: Endpoints for querying, creating, updating card groups, and moving cards between card groups.
Card Types: Retrieve information about card types and purchase categories.

Card API includes endpoints for retrieving and updating Shell card details.

Key features include:

• Search for Shell Cards in the Shell Card Platform
• Tools for secure PIN encryption
• Electronic PIN reminders
• Order fuel cards and decide about expiry dates, products that can be purchased, card and PIN delivery details
• Block card instantly and permanently, or temporarily
• Schedule card blocking to be triggered on a specific day or period of time. For example, when the driver is on vacation

Restriction APIs allow you to search card restrictions and view current limits on the Shell card. 

You can apply restrictions and limits, and create, retrieve, update, or delete restriction profiles. You can easily assign limit profiles for different types of customers or drivers.

Stay in control by applying a variety of limits on spending:

• Volume, value and transaction limits can be set at a daily, weekly, 
  monthly or annual threshold
• Card lifetime limits are one-off limits that will not reset
• Product limits establish what can and can’t be purchased using your cards
• Day and time limits allow precise control over spending, e.g. only during business hours
