Shell’s Mobility APIs allow you to integrate powerful fuel card operations into your digital products and services. Whether you're managing a fleet or building a mobility platform, this guide will help you understand how to get started.
1.Select Your APIs
-
Select API you want to use by browsing Use Cases and API Catalog
- Check the Regional Availability Page to see if desired APIs are available
-
Decide which features you need and how frequently you will call the API.
Need help on this step? Raise a ticket to our Support team, describe what your use case and out team will suggest you best fitted APIs and endpoints.
2.Discuss pricing & contracts
- Talk to your Shell account manager.
- Once agreed, Shell will share an addendum for review and signing.
-
Testing is free of charge. The addendum is only required when moving to production.
3. Access the Test Environment
Shell provides a dedicated test environment where you can test all card management operations:
- Order cards
- Block/unblock cards
- Set limits and more
- Data endpoints to view transactions, card list, invoices and more.
- The Sandbox uses a dummy account and does not mirror your production data.
4. Move to Production
- After signing the addendum, you’ll receive production credentials (API key and secret).
- Subscribe to notifications for updates and maintenance alerts.
