"By integrating Shell’s APIs we now have accurate and complete information about available sites, prices, transactions and invoices. Since fuel represents a significant cost for our operations, having all this data readily available allows us to optimize and manage our fueling processes, completely hassle-free.

 

For example, using the Mobility Customer Data and Mobility Sites APIs we receive details on list prices, contractual agreements and locations. By combining this data with other data sources, we can track daily fuel prices for each fuel type across individual sites and site groups. We share this information internally, providing our planners with valuable insights to make cost-effective decisions where to refuel.

 

What I appreciate is that Shell does not only provide these APIs, but also supports them in a professional manner. The Shell Developer Portal offers all the necessary documentation and there is a professional helpdesk as well. Communication is efficient, our feedback is valued, and any issues are addressed promptly."

Thanks to Shell’s SmartPay API we are able to provide customers with a fully digital fueling process in the app. The customers can conveniently start the pump and pay the fuel from the comfort of their vehicle.

 

The API is well designed, stable and robust enabling us to provide an excellent experience to the customers. Our technical team especially appreciated the reliable API documentation and competent integration support. Operation runs very smoothly since a couple of years and any questions we had were promptly resolved.
