What is PAN?

PAN (Primary Account Number) in the context of Shell B2B Mobility and Payments APIs refers to an identifier used within API payloads when working with card, account or transaction data.
It does not represent a consumer card number and cannot be used to manage or query personal payment cards.

Transaction Processing: It ensures accurate and secure processing of transactions.

Fraud Prevention: The structure of the PAN, including a check digit, helps detect and prevent unauthorized transactions
