Portal AI Chat
The AI Chat available across the portal helps you find information published on the Shell Developer Portal, including API documentation, product information, onboarding guidance, and portal processes.
The solution automatically indexes public portal content and provides answers in a conversational format.
API Copilot Chat
The AI Chat available on SDK pages is product-specific. It uses the documentation, SDKs, code samples, and setup guides for the API product you are currently viewing. Responses are also tailored to the programming language selected on the page.
You can use it to:
- Understand API capabilities and workflows
- Generate code examples
- Explain SDK setup and configuration
- Troubleshoot integration issues
- Learn how to use specific endpoints
What AI Chat cannot access
Neither chat can access:
- Your user profile or account information
- Your Shell Account Number
- Your applications or subscriptions
- API access approvals or provisioning status
- Support tickets or case details
- Personal data stored in Shell systems
- Information that is not published in the content available to the chat
